Waterside Hide & Allday Ospreys
Waterside Hide is located near Insch, Aberdeenshire, offering a wide range of wildlife regularly visiting the hide.
Red Squirrels, Buzzards, Sparrowhawk, an extensive amount of small finches, robins, coal and blue tits .
A lovely hide with comfortable seating for 4 Photographers. Very busy with lots of different props and set ups. Constantly busy with squirrels and small birds. Toilet facilities available a few minutes walk away.

Waterside Hide & Allday Ospreys
The hides are water level with a large pond sited for best light and wind directions. The 2 hides seat up to 24 (2 x 12) photographers. There will be a toilet between the hides, also an area for refreshments and covered outside smoking.
The walk to the hide is roughly 200m with a slight incline, there is a pathway mown to guide you.
April & May
- Dawn - 2pm (Morning Session)
- 2pm - Dusk (Evening Session)
June, July & August
- Dawn - 12am (Morning Session)
- 12am - Dusk (Evening Session)
Season hide times
- Opens - April 1st
- Closes - September (when Ospreys migrate)
Pine Marten Hide
Jacqui's Photography Hide, located near Keith, Aberdeenshire. Unique opportunity to Photograph Pine Martens by Daylight.
Lovely Hide with comfortable seating available for 4 photographers, Gimbal heads and bean bags available for use.
There's plenty of Red Squirrels and Small birds to photograph while waiting on the pine Martens (Finches, Tits, Robins etc), also regular visits by local buzzards. Evening visits by badgers, can be arranged on request.

A lovely hide with comfortable seating for several Photographers. Very busy from the very start, with lots of different props and set ups. Constantly busy with squirrels and small birds.

Scottish Photography Hides,
based in Kirkcudbright (and surrounding area), offering an extensive range of hides and wildlife from Kingfishers, Badgers, Sparrowhawk, Red Squirrels, Otters, Pine Martens and many more. The best range of wildlife offered by any hide set up in the UK.
Great set up, with several hides available depending on the species you are looking to photograph. Alan's fieldcraft and wildlife knowledge of the species he has available is extensive. Hides well kitted out with base plates for Gimbals, ledges for bean bags and space for tripods. Comfortable seating and also some of the hides have toilet facilities within a few minutes walk.
Cairngorm Wildlife Photography
Gordon has 2 hides available with seating for up to about 6 in each hide. Hides positioned at different sides of the pond, catering for birds approaching from different directions. Gordons use of 2-way radios inform you of approaching/diving birds, (but you still need to be quick.!!)
Comfortable seating, and Base Plates for gimbals available.
